Head of Finance & Controller – Fidem

Gerard is a seasoned finance executive with over 25 years of experience in finance, M&A, strategy, business development, and operations. At Fidem, he manages the finance platform, overseeing financial reporting, analysis, cash management, and operations, and plays a pivotal role in post-deal financial operations for debt and equity holders and special purpose investment vehicles. Before joining Fidem, Gerard worked at AHPP, focusing on consumer lending loan portfolio M&A and valuation modeling on credit card portfolios in excess of $5 billion. Previously, he served as Director FP&A at FMC Inc, also acting as CFO of the Health and Nutrition segment and driving strategic acquisitions. Gerard has also held senior financial roles at Ericsson Inc and led numerous consulting engagements for the office of the CFO with KPMG.

Gerard is a Chartered Accountant from New Zealand and holds a BSc in Applied Economics and Business Management from Cornell University, as well as an MBA from Drexel University.
